ASKING ALEXANDRIA's music video for the band's new single, "The Violence", can be seen below. The clip was directed by Jensen Noen and produced by Sam Malko, Brand Birtwistle and Joe Grayem. "The Violence" is the first new music from ASKING ALEXANDRIA since the release of the band's self-titled fifth studio album, which arrived in December 2017 via Sumerian Records. The disc marked the group's first full-length effort with singer Danny Worsnop following his return to ASKING ALEXANDRIA in the fall of 2016. During his time away from ASKING ALEXANDRIA, Worsnop pursued a more traditional hard rock sound with his other project, WE ARE HARLOT, while ASKING ALEXANDRIA recruited a new singer, Denis Shaforostov, and released a fourth album, "The Black". Danny also issued a country-tinged solo album, "The Long Road Home". ASKING ALEXANDRIA has earned a place among the most streamed, downloaded, watched and altogether listened-to bands in a generation, combining the innovation of modern active rock with the traditional attitude of the culture's trailblazers. They recently celebrated their eighth consecutive Top 20 hit at U.S. radio with "Vultures", a track from their self-titled album, which also spawned hits "Alone In A Room" (No. 7) and "Into The Fire" (No. 13).
