Swedish metallers ASTRAL DOORS will release their seventh album, "Notes From The Shadows", on August 29 via Metalville. The follow-up to 2011's "Jerusalem" contains 11 tracks that were mixed and mastered at the Black Lounge Studio in Grangärde by Jonas Kjellgren.According to a press release, "Notes From The Shadows" "takes us to the band's darker side with a closer look into the black bible . A pure evil heavy metal album which brings back the occult lyrics to classic heavy metal." The CD, which was made available as a jewelcase, digipack and on vinyl, was mixed by Daniel Bergstrand, who has previously worked with BEHEMOTH, MESHUGGAH, DIMMU BORGIR, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD and SOILWORK, among others.
