AT LAST - A CONSERVATIVE ALTERNATIVE TO BEN & JERRY'S

my conservative friends have been raving about this for a while--i think one of them tried to order it?

all the conservative boards say it tastes great and all the liberal ones say it sucks. jesus, be a little less partisan.

i'm sure it tastes fine. but is it conservative because like, they only give it to republican troops that hate women and gays? or like, do they donate money to conservative groups? i'm asking because i don't know. seriously.

$76 for 4 quarts of ice cream?! Are you kidding me?
A. As with other perishable gourmet gift products like steaks, seafood, etc., the costs of dry ice packaging and UPS 2-day shipping make ordering by mail more expensive than buying the same items in a supermarket. However, Star Spangled's prices and quality actually match or surpass most other high-end mail order gourmet gift ice creams (including Ben & Jerry's) - plus our labels are funnier!

Now that's a reason to pay $76 for ice cream!

ask the people on BCO who call me a hardline conservative because i don't support suicide bombing of pizza parlours. some people can't separate ideology from individual issues.

It is the association of patriotism with support the war in Iraq, coupled with it being a war led by a conservative president and with the backing of his party which allows for anyone waving the flag to label themselves conservatives.

Bush is in favor of increasingly powerful government, which is anti-conservative. He opposes the kind of privacies that are the hallmark of archconservative libertarian types (drug laws, gay sex laws, etc). He (now) supports the liberal philosophy of nation-building. His Latino/a-oriented policies would've been called anti-conservative if anyone else had implemented them.

I'm not sure what he is, but I know what he is not: neither compassionate nor conservative.
