at the gates albums?

hey, i'm new on the messageboard and was just wondering about at the gates.

as you have all seen Tomas Lindberg (ex-frontman of At the Gates) is guesting on the new Area54 album(can't wait). I have seen how highly all of area 54 rate At the Gates and feel i should check them out. What would you recommend as a first At the Gates album to buy- slaughter of the soul seems the obvious one but is this really the best??

ive been played various tracks but i couldnt tell ya where they came from....


all i know is that i really got into them more cuz of 54. and the influence they hold over them
HELL they rock..
i would imagine at least checkin out their first album,,, just to hear where they started.. and then after that check out whatever else u come across!!!

I'd highly recommend 'Slaughter of the Soul' or 'Terminal Spirit Disease'. Although, to be honest, I wouldn't have gotten into them as much if I didn't hear Slaughter of the Soul first. It's a f&#king awesome album.
