Back in the 90s, when I was 11 or 12 years old, the very first "death" metal band I've heard was ATG... I was very impressed by the harsh vocals, the speedy drums, and, most of anything, the deep, warm, lowtuned sound of the guitars...
Offcourse, I've never heard nothing like that before; In Flames, Dark Tranquility, Soilwork, and the rest of those "copycat" will never be as good as ATG.
