At Vance - VII

Anyone else digging this album? I haven't listened to many of their albums save for the first few with Hartmann on vocals. They're on their third singer and this album just pimp slaps! The new singer Rick Altzi sounds like a combination of Jeff Scott Soto, Jorn Lande and their first singer Oliver Hartmann. Fucking great!

Heart of Steel was the only other album of theirs I've seriously considered buying, and I will someday but this one just tears shit up and I simply must have it.

I dunno about this album, but there's one thing I've always loved about At Vance.. their cover of Abba's S.O.S. - dunno why I love it so much, I just do..

Actually this is a pretty good piece. At least I like 'em, except on the 2nd. singer's era.

Oliver Hartmann and this new guy both kicks some asses... and the songs on this one are not boring, as said above, at least on my taste. So I'd recommend just a check.

At vance is awesome if you like Michael Bolton. The last song on the album is the single gayest ballad power metal has ever seen, and that is quite the fucking accomplishment. Furthermore, the songs are generic and the guy has no power behind his voice.

l was into this band when Oliver was the vocalist, but after he bailed nothing they've done since has been worth attention.
