yeah to my ears I'm hearing a buildup around the 4.5-5khz range, seemingly out in right field, maybe from the lead. Not using grindmachine by any chance are you

That's possible, I was wrestling with those leads for hours. I just never know what to look for. I'm used to the old "use your ears" mantra, but they're not always the most helpful fuckers.
