i know joss whedon has talked about releasing a cd of christophe beck's music but has never gotten around to it. the closest they came was the soundtrack to Once More With Feeling which had some stuff and the two soundtacks to the series each had one orchestral piece. the first one had the Buffy/Angel love and the second had the score to the final fight scene which wasn't even done by Christophe Beck i think.

honestly, i never much paid attention to the scored music in angel, it always blended in i guess. meaning to me rob kral's scores aren't as remarkable to me as christophe beck's but maybe if i paid more attention i would find more intricacies?

I also thought Beck's scores stuck out more, for better or worse. I have the Once More With Feeling soundtrack and the first soundtrack as well, but I still wouldn't mind a full cd or two of just Beck's stuff.

yeah i would buy a christophe beck cd too. i still need to pick up james marsters's cd.

and while i am happy about next week's return of angel. it will be bittersweet because it is the last episodes.

That Ghost of the Robot cd isn't half bad. Every once in a while he goes kind of flat, but it's a decent pop record. Some of it, like "David Letterman" can get stuck in my head for days.

i totally wish amber benson would do an album. her voice is AMAZING and she seems really like a cool person offscreen too.
