its not as much a "happy coincidence" as it is me pointing out further proof of the inherent bullshit that is this movie.

also the only reason i put it to fusoya's attention is that we have a shared interest in garfield and also because he is the one who introduced me to the work of alan cummings.

but feel free to post on any of threads nick

the cartoons with nermal were great.

also toby:

my roomate and i were discussing garfield and he being wrong stated that garfield never could carry a whole half hour except the christmas special and why the cartoon series was a success was because the cartoons were so short and divided between garfield and U.S. Acres. he said the garfield halloween special was atrocious but i don't remember ever seeing it. have you seen it?

yeah i 've seen it, and come on. it is good

however i do prefer the short format of the cartoons,

however however, it did alway sbug me that the U.S. acres cartoons were longer than the Garfield ones

finally, have you seen the garfield special with their vacation/getting thrown into the volcano? that one's awesome

Yeah, the one where Garfield goes to Hawaii - I have that back home somewhere. I should see if I can find it someday. I haven't watched that in ages.
