I'm from Jersey and I'll eat grits all day, no problem, despite my pending heart condition. Also, people who eat grits with jelly and sugar should be strung up. And grits need not be prepared by a chef of any merit, simply find someone who looks like either Aunt Jemima or Uncle Ben or Colonel Sanders or Aunt Bea.
