dude i listened to that album weighting last night and it is sweeeeeeeeeeeeet. it's pretty much a bunch of loose jams in a similar style of that period of the band, featuring some crazy jazz sax dude named Charles Gayle (i don't know the name, i'm bad with jazz because i don't really like it).

I can't say I'm a big horn guy but on the Govt Mule DVD the Dirty Dozen Brass Band horn section came out and jammed mightily with the Mule on a 16 min version of Herbie Hancock's Chameleon ~ my wife was like, "Warren Haynes really looks like a redneck but he seems to get along fine with black people!"

i'm not a huge fan of brass but sometimes it just works, especially with freakout bowie-esque stuff.
