I went to the fimav last year to catch the Melvins/Fantômas big band thingy... Man did it ever feel like the twilight zone, these big names playing in a hole-in-the-ground town like Victo Are you thinking of catching ALL those shows? 'Cause I'd be interested in the Bailey/Mori/Zorn and Fly Pan Am shows, but I don't know how much time off I could take... I'm just checking the calendar and they're both playing the 22nd... Saturday... totally doable!
On another note, we should ketch Da Dot one of these days, three or four guys renting a car shouldn't be too expensive.

Well I was thinking about doing the saturday thing as I don't think I will have the funds to catch the whole fest. I would be hard pressed to miss Sam Shalabi show if I go on the saturday though... Let me know what you think and we can set it up.

La partie "du Québec" est un peu vaseuse... mais je prend crédit quand même. Sérieusement, les gars sont ontariens, ils sont arrivé a Montréal avec un camper et on passé 4 ou 5 mois ici, on fait un paquet de shows et ont enregistré leur album; et l'on sortie sur une étiquette québécoise. are you coming to the CAPTAIN HADDOCK HOUSE PARTY? i rreeaaallly don't know how many people are going to be there or how worth it it's going to be for you to drive from WOOSTAH, but i intend on having a blast!

I am not sure yet. To be completly honest it will depend on what kind of shape I am after riding for 4-5 hours straight from MTL to my Hotel in Shrewsbury.. Also, anybody in the know why mapquest insist in me going through Albany NY to go to Worcester? Is it any faster? Seems out of the way a little bit...

They do get me to I-90, but going through Vermont seems almost straight travel instead of doing this big curve. I will get better advice somewhere else...
