So apparently when a coyote eats an animal like a bunny, it eats all the skin, hair, and nails too, but cannot digest these materials.

This means that when the coyote poops, the hair shows up in the poop, undigested! But it comes out in little wound up clumps of dryer-lint form or something, sort of like the bunny was put into a high-speed bunny disintegrator and its fur was wound around a spindle and spat out in a neat little cottonball!
