I used to work there, it was an awesome job. My guess is someone will buy it, Allans changed hands a couple of times during my time working there and some of the older guys could remember it changing owners as well, so I think it has been going down slowly for a very long time.

Interestingly the main owners when I worked there were 3 guys who bought out voda phone. Then they sold voda phone about 3 months before all that "vodafail" complaints website was in the news, and now it looks like they sold Allans off to Hydes in 2010 right before it went under. Those 3 guys really know how to look after themselves and fuck over the next guy.
