Hey everyone,

I have just recorded an Autopsy cover, please check it out and let me know what you think. Autopsy is one of those bands that sounds so brutal and raw, that it's hard to find that sound!

Thanks in advance,

Didier

Thanks for the reply! I am sorry for giving so little info.

The track is build up from the ground, so all guitar tracks are played by myself and the drums are generated with vsti.

Guitar: Schecter Hellraiser (EMG 81) in C-tuning. One track hard left, one track hard right.

Guitar for the solo: Jackson KE2 usa (JB). One centered track with a little delay to make it sound more wide.

Amp: Pod Farm with Catharsis impulses for the cab

Drums: Superior Drummer (Metal Foundry) with Andy Sneap Preset.

Thank you for checking it out!

I'll do that first thing in the morning, since my recording computer is already shutdown (and I was just checking my e-mail on my laptop before going to sleep). To bad I don't have a bass, because I really miss that in the mix! Anyway thanks again for watching, listening and posting! I'll post the audio recordings as soon as possible!

Sounds good overall, everything seems to be sitting pretty well in the mix. Only thing I'm noticing is that there seems to be a lack of dynamics. Can't exactly advise on how to correct that but maybe someone else on here could.

Thanks for the input! Could it be that the lack of dynamics is due to the fact that I only used one guitar and one guitar setting? Maybe I should use two totally different amp sims for the two tracks, so you have a more diverse sound?
