autotuning live?

is avenged sevenfold really using autotune live or are my ears making up another reason to hate this band? i swear it sounds like its tuning in a lot of parts, but idk...

if they are pitch correcting, how do they do that live? programmed in playing to a click or a dude in the back on a keyboard? surely these chumps arent that good at singing... some hot chicks though!

Autotune was a box before it was a pluggin and AFAIK the digidesign consoles can run the plug live so it's pretty simple. However, I doubt this video was a live mixed live to two track. Most released "live" performances have lots of post processing and often overdubs.

I'm pretty sure that dimmu borgir uses tuning live as well, with one of the tc helicon boxes

I preferred Avenged Sevenfold when they were just Emo fags playing hardcore, not this autotuned, glam rock thing.

I'm surprised there's no harmonized guitars in there, that's like 'their thing'.
