Hi
I just bought an used command 8 (perfect for me since I will only use it for fader ride and panning). But anyway I know some user's have done fader/knob mod on command 8.
What kind of fader do you choose (pro control or Dcommand)?
Any kind of mod should be applied for feat the new fader?
Where do you order those (searched on ebay, gearslutz but really nothing really pop out)?

Thanks

I changed the knobs and faders on mine because i didn't like how they felt. I ordered them directly from the avid website. I used the Pro Control faders because i preferred how it looked over the other ones but any of them will fit without any modifications. For the knobs i went with D-Control, however they will not fit stock, the hole on the knobs have 2 little bumps that you have to file off if you want them to fit on your command 8. You could probably push it in hard enough and it will fit but i was too afraid of breaking something internally with that much pressure. It's more hassle than anything really and if the knobs don't bother you that much i would suggest leaving them alone, the faders though are an easy swap and for me it makes a significant difference on how they feel.
