Samples sound good...Evergrey influence shows.

Lion Music are delighted to announce the signing of Awake, a superb British progressive metal band. A mid 2007 release is anticipated (date TBC).
Band Line Up: Simon Shedwell - Vocals. Richard Hall – Guitar, Chris le Mottee – Bass, Craig Burkett – Keyboards, Alex Townsend - Drums.
The album's stunning artwork was produced by Mattias Noren of Progart Media who has worked for many bands including Arena, Kamelot and Evergrey.
Illumination has the following track listing: Disbelief / Retribution / Crime Of Passion / Choices In Time / Begin Again / The Price You Have To Pay / Dream Within / Illumination / Forgiven Now Forever / My Last Goodbye / Shadows.
Disbelief was chosen as the track for the band first video shoot which happened on 10th March 2007 at A & R Studios, Peterborough, UK - working with MetalonRock Productions, also of Peterborough. The finished video should be online in the next few weeks.

You liking this explains why you don't like my music (even though what you probably heard were instrumental demos  ).

These guys are alright, I can see a strong influence of DT + Evergrey. I'm only marking them down for not being very original...

l think you're mistaken...l've never heard your self proclaimed version of music.

Unoriginal...like 99.789% of everything else that's out there. But it's a band's own little twists that make them what they are & for people to take note of. It's all been done...just some better than others.

I listened to the two songs twice at work and my buddy who works with me is into the same kind of music asked who i was playing , to make a long story short that means he liked the band.
My opinion is
1 They were pretty good
2 I don't take them as prog
3 A bit repetative
3 I feel as tho the singer is holding back meaning the power and feeling of his voice
