Generally, the better the stamp, the shittier the country, because you know how there are all those African/Pacific countries that whore their postage out to American pop stars in order to sell "collector's editions" on American television, so I was worried Ireland would have fallen to that level when I saw the thread title. But Irish rock musicians! Awesome!

The Phil Lynott one is totally the best.

as a life long stamp collector I agree with what you say. some of those little islands crank this stuff out for income. but Ireland has a rich musical tradition so I'm glad they're honoring some of their own greats.
when I was in jr high I was a massive rory gallagher fan.
