GUNS N' ROSES lead singer Axl Rose was the victim of a new death hoax. An article designed to look like an MSNBC report surfaced on the Internet on Wednesday with a headline reading, "Sources: Guns N' Roses Frontman Axl Rose Found Dead in West Hollywood Home at Age 52."The false report suggested the singer was found dead on Tuesday afternoon in his West Hollywood home, and used a fabricated quote from a from a non-existent police spokesperson. The same web site pulled a similar trick in November with a death hoax about actor Macaulay Culkin. Rose has since joked about the hoax, tweeting earlier tonight: "If I'm dead, do I still have to pay taxes?" In addition, the official GUNS N' ROSES Facebook page shared a photo of Axl from the ParadiseCity.com page containing the caption: "Ha! They say I'm dead — again… Wait, what? WTF? It's a hoax. Guys. Get a life at ParadiseCity.com."Rose is the only original member of GUNS N' ROSES still in the current lineup, which has toured intermittently since 2006 and played its second Las Vegas residency earlier this year.
