Saw Black Label Society on Friday March 25 and it was Kick Ass. I don't remember thje exact set list but highlights included: Stoned & Drunk (opener), Funeral Bell, Destruction Overdrive, Suicide Messiah, Been A Long Time, In This River (tribute to Dime with a killer extended instrumental jam), You Must Be Blind, Mama I'm Coming Home (crowd sang the whole song), Genocide Junkies.
They played almost 2 hours.
Strapping Young Lad/ Alien-This C.D. is Great. A great mix of what I call "Melody & Brutality". My favorite songs include Skeksis, Love?, Zen, We Ride, but I don't much care for Two Weeks.
Just picked up Lamb Of God's first release when they where known as Burn The Priest. Love the artwork and the music to the first 3 songs is classic thrash/borderline death/prog metal. I'll make a decision after a few listens.
