Babymetal - J-Pop Death Metal Anyone?

No this is not my usual cup of tea, but it cracked me up when I stumbled onto it today so I had to share:

The music is actually rather interesting. I can't see myself listening to it often, but it is amazing that this even exists.

Figured I'd chime in. I like aspects of it, like I like the clean Jpop/Jrock vocals with metal (makes me miss Ayumi Hamasaki doing metal), and that they try to integrate other styles.. but the way they do it is way to abrupt and just doesn't fit.. too many abrupt dissonant aspects they're playing with.. what, they're super young and cutesy with the aggressive aspects of metal, which alone is pushing it, then they go straight into a whole other genre from one section of a song to another, Jpop, bubblegum pop, dance, rap, nu metal etc.. Gahhh! The videos make what I think is an issue even worse. The first video they had drives me up the wall and made me kind of hate it, but music alone, it's kind of an interesting concept.. sort of. Certain things about it though I like and makes me laugh thinking that is so Japanese. The other stuff is I think just weird marketing/corp business concept.
