BAD WOLVES have presented a check for $250,000 to the family of late CRANBERRIES singer Dolores O'Riordan. The Los Angeles-based metal band's debut album, titled "Disobey", includes the group's massively successful cover of THE CRANBERRIES hit "Zombie". The track hit the Top 15 on the American rock radio chart and was No. 1 on iTunes in multiple countries, including the U.K., Sweden, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and THE CRANBERRIES' home country of Ireland. O'Riordan was slated to record vocals for BAD WOLVES' cover of the track on the day that she died in a London hotel this past January. The band decided to release the song in her honor with all proceeds going to her children. BAD WOLVES made good on their promise by inviting O'Riordan's family onstage last night at New York's Gramercy Theatre and presented them with the quarter-million-dollar check. Watch video footage below. Frontman Tommy Vext previously said that "it was the greatest honor to know [Dolores] liked our version and wanted to sing on it. "We're deeply saddened by the sudden loss of Dolores and by the fact that she's leaving behind three children, so we are donating the proceeds from the song to her kids. "It's such a powerful song and the themes are still so relevant, we wanted to release it in her memory." The original single was first released by THE CRANBERRIES in 1994 and became a worldwide No. 1 hit. The video for the BAD WOLVES' version has garnered more than 83 million views in four months on YouTube. BAD WOLVES will tour the U.S. in the summer with FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH and BREAKING BENJAMIN. BAD WOLVES is managed by FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH guitarist Zoltan Bathory. Vext went on tour with FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH in 2017 as a fill-in vocalist for Ivan Moody while the latter was dealing with substance and alcohol abuse issues.

We shared a special moment with Dolores O'Riordan's family tonight in NYC. #ForDolores
