Bands similar to Oceansize

Sup! I'm looking for bands that are similar to Oceansize, or similar to the cleaner parts of Between The Buried And Me.

This style of music that i'm looking for isn't really a genre with a name. I guess you could call it Progressive Alt/post-Rock or something? But that'd be silly! And i find this stuff really hard to find, as i never really know what i'm looking for. It can be very hit and miss

Other bands of a similar style that I love are

Aereogramme, Cave In, Amplifier, Leaves, Mew, *Shels, Magenta Skycode, Fightstar, Karnivool or possibly Dredg, Radiohead (OK Computer album, no others really), Biffy Clyro Sigur Ros and stuff like that.

Anything with an alt rockish feel with prog influences and or post rock influences with some good male vocals, that doesn't descend into overly drawn out instrumental noodlings

Oh and for any fans of any of the above bands, there's a few recommendations for you! Check em all out!

Any help is appreciateds!

Wow, another old member returns. First Metalmaster and Overlord and S4R now Kush. Now we need Lina and that guy with the cannabis sig to come back and it will be a new golden age for the forum.

But if history repeats itself, it means we eventually would have to endure another age of NineFeetUnderground.

Ah yes.. the olden days. We were so young. So naive. Was a great community, made a lot of permanent friends. Much win was had. But has oceansize can fit that much win into just one song, let us continue my search for more tasty music. :headbang:

Queuing them up on Pandora? What's that?

I just started listening to Oceansize not too long ago, I really like their album Frames.

you should check out Battles.
