Very famous over here, I used to love watching him on TV.

I believe he once held a world record for number of bones broken during a sporting career too. Could be wrong about that. I'll have to check.

This is very sad

I didn't even know he had cancer until Sunday when watching the F1 the commentators sent him a "get better". So yesterday i went looking to see what was wrong with him and that would have been right around the time he died!

He was always one of my favourite commentator's.

when commintators could first talk to drivers while they were driving at bathurst and barry started chatting to dick johnson and made him crash !

They were great mate Dick Johnson and Baz, he is very broken up about his passing , I heard an interview with him today

It's nice to see channel 10 doing stuff for him on the news, though. They were all a pretty close team there, commentators, newsreaders and riders/drivers alike.
