lol has Vuashke just discovered music? So many threads he has no clue of the band and often the genre. BC are ok, nothing amazing. As far as Ambient/Drone goes it's ok, if you really like those styles and certainly a fusion of you will like it. Ghosts on Magnetic Tape is usually regarded as the best release and I would agree. So grab that one man.

I was about to say isn't the new one called "Pacific Codex" but I just checked and your right that is the newest one. lol SW is such a workaholic. Well I haven't heard the newest "Molotov and Haze" but after your reccomendation I'll check it out. It's hard to keep up with all the SW releases.

and steven wilson looks like a big dork too. whoops
blackfield is quite possibly the most boring project of steven wilson, no easy feat there. it deserves props. /props
at first i thought this would be about SMV or a similar styled band, and that would own hard. 3 bassists is always fun, its much better than no bassists

Oh well, he doesn't look "normal". Neither did Bowie in the 70's but his music still destroys. I don't really care for Geffen's solo stuff but I do quite like BF. I honestly don't give a shit what he looks like. I have seen like a few photo's of SW where he didn't look stupid. If a fucking ogre released awesome music the fact he looked fucked wouldn't bother me.

Hang on did I read that correctly? If you think bowie is shit too, you fail pretty damn hard. The man who sold the world through Aladdin, then Station to Station through to Scary monsters are all fantastic albums. The only reason I mentioned him is because the way he looked through the majority of his best work wasn't exactly "normal" however the material he produced was great. All I'm saying is it doesn't matter how a musician presents himself as long as the music is good. If you don't like bf or bowie for that matter oh well, that's your opinion, but don't base your opinion solely on the fact that he doesn't look "normal". I don't really get how someone who likes pt can not like bf. I'm assuming you like pt, most opeth fans seem to. At least some bf must appeal to a pt fan surely.
