Ive been playing for 2 1/2 years but i have previous experience being in a band both local and school. My influences are Death, Cynic, Hate Eternal, Morbid Angel, Sadistic Intent, Miles Davis, Joh Coltrane, Marduk, Decapitated, Vital Remains, Bach, Chopin, just basically true metal shit and jazz, and classical music. I have a 100 watt Ampeg amp, 5-string Spector Legend Bass. I also have a 100 watt Speaker modem with two amps. I live in Norwalk, CA Im willing to travel to Hollywood or around there or my location. Im 17 yrs if you are interested my email is chacafski@yahoo.com

If you're really serious, get a bass amp that's at least 700 watts r.m.s.; otherwise, you're never going to be heard over the guitar players with a 100 watt bass amplifier.

There's no need for 700+ watts. It is nice, but not needed. I have an SVT3Pro into an 8X10 and puts out plenty of power. I can be heard clear over an 8-piece double-bass set, an HD147 into V-30 loaded cab, and a 6505+ into Mesa Trad. cab. Bare minimum would be 350watts (you always want to be at least 3X as much power as the guitars, so I could see where the 700 comes in, but again not absolutely vital). Also, make sure you pick up a Sansamp. It will be your best friend.
