I like Can I Play With Madness it rocks.

Powerslave gets my vote though. Seventh Son is by far my least liked out of the '80s albums with Bruce.

Honestly, I think its one of the worst songs Maiden recorded in the 80s...worse than 'Sun & Steel' and 'Quest For Fire'....I absolutely hate it, and think it took alot away from a good album. I agree with Troops that it is the worst of the 80s era Bruce albums too. :)

I respect your opinion Blitzy. BUT Seventh Son is my fave Maiden album ever (probably cos' it's the first studio album of theirs i ever heard, i got it at the same time as LaD) and i think Can I Play With Madness ROCKS! As a new listener to metal/Maiden back then a simple Rocker like Can I Play.....was easy to get into, compared with some of the prog stuff like Moonchild, Infinite Dreams, title track etc etc.

I like "Can I Play With Madness" because there was such a long wait (or so it felt) between SIT and SSOASS that as soon as the video was shown on MTV I watched it repeatedly, almost 24/7, and so I got used to it. I probably know the video better than the song, actually.

That said, I wasn't too crazy about the actual album, and because I (well, Mark) got it on tape I only really listened to side one because I didn't like many of the songs on side two. Still don't - "The Clairvoyant"? :Puke:
