BBE SonicStomp + 5150...worth it?

Hi,

heard a lot of people who swear about the 5150 + SonicStomp/SonicMaximizer combination. Someone here who already tried it?
Right now I'm really satisfied with my tubescreamer, but if it could get better...why not.

BBE Sonic maximizer can "fool" you into thinking it sounds better when it's not better at all...

There is actually an Official BBC Sonic Maximizer VST plugin out there, try it and see what you think....

I know Scott Ian uses one with his Randall...

The sonic maximizer sounds cool in the room, but it's no good once you try tracking with it, IMO

Already got the plugin. Sounds nice for a few things, but the sound will quickly become artificial if you overdo it. So I'll save the bucks ;-)
