I don't like very much the stones... just some great singles in the 60s and some albums between 69 and 72 (Let It Bleed is excellent). the big majority of the nexts sucks.

Stones, well I just like 3-4 songs, the most well-known ones. "Paint It Black" is one of the most catchy compositions I've ever heard, it's got a great taste and it's really a GREAT song, but that's more or less what I like from Stones. And, btw, I have the original "Sticky Fingers" LP, my father listened to some of that music back then. But he was mostly into beatles as well, so (envy me) I have most of the original LPs + 10 or 15 45"s

beatles for me. i reckon the stones are the godfathers of rock (and metal too somehow). but the beatles stayed pretty unique in what theyve done. and their songs had depth. i mean true depth. maybe im telling bollox now but i dont see too much depth into the stones' music.
