my bed:

* queen-sized mattress
* set on a futon rack, so it's low to the ground and has no annoying head or baseboard
* four pillows
* three quilts
* 390-thread-count sateen sheets
* thick, pillowy featherbed in between mattress and bottom sheet
* placed in an alcove with two windows on one side, a window at the head, and a window at the foot

i loooove it

my bed isn't a cave anymore, it used to be. but it's still awesome. it's only 1' off the ground and huge. and i have like 6 pillows. and sheets with cats on them.

actually my bed, while being very old and messed up, is remarkably comfortable and i made a promise to myself with the last cleaning that i want to keep the bed made every morning before i leave for work. it will inspire me to not let it get shitty and all sheetless.

just this morning, i was reading an education article for class about linguistics and it talked about how mexican children don't perceive a difference between the "i" and "ee" sounds. and i kept thinking, "time to take out a peece of sheet music"

i need a new bed pretty badly. my last frame got covered in mold and is in the process of being thrown out. now all we've got is a matress on the floor.

0mg! I went into some store yesterday in the mall, it was a lot like The Sharper Image, and it had all of these massagers and comfortable chairs and hammocks and this one really comfortable bed. I layed down and was like "0mfg, this bed kicks ass!" There was all these different pillows and stuff. And then the owner of the store comes out and says "you have to be 18 to lay on the bed." So I was like "wtf-ever" and then i went and layed on the hammock.

i ditched my box spring and put the mattress on a squat sort of bedframe that once belonged to a famous hardcore singer.

i have multiple pillows too, but here's a few questions:

- do sheets bug the hell out of anyone else? i hate them, i can't sleep with them. a light blanket and that's it, for me

- can you actually sleep with stacked pillows? i used to be able to when i was young, but they kill[\i] my neck lately.

umm you mean a top sheet? i would feel pretty vile sleeping on a bare mattress. as a kid i used to kick off the top sheet but then wear like 3 blankets...now i use the top sheet AND 3 blankets.

i also used to have 2-3 pillows under my head, but now that's tougher because of the neck thing...i still use two, but i jam my arm in between them and pull the bottom one under my armpit, so my neck isn't all bent up and my arm doesn't go numb at the shoulder. age, i guess.
