Trying out this new mix with Metal Foundry and Le456, went for a more organic sounding mix this time and used "Watershed" by Opeth as a basis.

Since that album sounds absolutely delicious:worship:. I'm attempting to recreate some of that awesomeness. Please give me some criticism/advice.

Hope you guys like it! I know there's a big crowd of Jens Bogren fans in this forum, so go easy on me haha.

Guitar: RG1077xl loaded with dimarzio blaze bridge -> Le456
Bass: stock Warwick Streamer 5 -> PODFarm

I think the metal foundry is not the suitable kit for the kind of sound you're after, they sound thin. And the guitars don't have this kinda layer which watershed has. More punchier and bigger drums and more layers of guitars that are a littlbe bit less airy.

Matching a mix is one of the most difficult things in audio production imo, every mix has its unique character so be patient and just experiment.
