Drank it chilled. It has a very distinctive taste, but one that I can't say I find all that appealing. Going to try one of these warm tonight, but I'll be stunned if I prefer it that way.

Tried this chilled as well. I liked it better than the Trois Pistoles, but that doesn't say much.

I've discovered that the Wegman's, next door to where I work, has a wide range of microbrews I've never seen elsewhere. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find the Goose Island Oatmeal Stout that Brandon (it was Brandon, right?) recommended.

That is one of the best IPA's out there. If you don't like it, simply avoid IPA altogether.

Since you like Guiness, try the obvious next choice: Murphy's.

Well, the best way to drink any stout is from the tap, so the draught can is the next best thing. I don't think I've seen it in a bottle, but I'd get the can either way.

Oh yeah, as the can says, SERVE CHILLED when you pour from the can. This is mandatory in order for the draught "widget" inside to take effect. Otherwise it comes out flat.

all these beer threads need to be merged into the snobby beer purchases thread.

MFJ, Rolling Rock..wtf?!

EDIT: Currently drinking a nice warm Old Rasputin Imperial Stout :kickass:

I got a nice bottle of Merlot for later too. Im trying to tread the Wine waters...err vines as of late...we'll see how that goes. Im gonna be broke and lying in a pudle of my own vomit.

Fall down six times, get up seven.

I like warm beers... but they have to be very heavy and smooth to
fully enjoy the room-temperature taste.
I love Belgian tripples in room temperature.

btw.... its so funny how a lot of people think that
"cold beer" is better... most Americans who drink all the Coors light
Bud Light crap like to drink it FREEZING cold, and its lame,
because beer should never be consumed "too cold" it freezes your mouth
and you can't enjoy the full aroma.
Which pretty much explains why they drink those shitty beers to begin with......
