The official press photo makes Uli look like a Backstreet Boy:

Well aren't some of Behringer's mixing desks a complete ripoff of Midas ones?
Yes. They are.

Well maybe these two pictures are not the BEST example. But you can see where I am coming from - having the busses and master in the right-middle.

maybe their new strategy is that, rather than settling lawsuits with companies they rip off, they'll just buy them...

It's quite a logical progression for them. They gain more market share and more opportunities for technology transfers. They created this umbrella brand, "The Music Group", exactly for that purpose... and they just started. They've already left an open invite to the industry to offer their brands to them, so we can expect so see other household names being acquired in the not so distant future.

This will be the audio version of Skynet.

tbh I don't think that Behringer is as bad as most of you guys say.
Everything I bought from Behringer still runs without mistakes. Maybe the equipment is from lower quality, but that's why it's so cheap.

Especially in the last weeks I think this forum became very strict in it's opinion about what's good and bad. Seems like the greytones dissappear, cause everything is either black or white...
