Behringer coming up with a new DAW controller?

I was once again browsing through stuff about DAW controllers (I can't believe there are so limited options in the market), and stumbled upon this:

Seems interesting to say the least. Could they be designing BCF2000's successor that has those god damn scribble strips already? I was already pretty set on an Euphonix/Avid MC Mix, but they jumped about 400€ in price and I've heard about some serious build issues with those, so I'm pretty curious.

This looks promising. I quite like my BCF2000 but the ack of scribble strips is pretty bad.

They're also working on a version of the ADA8000 without the pre's, just line ins/outs and AD conversion. Behringer seem to be doing a good job of listening to their customers lately.

Could turn out interesting. Though the last Behringer DAW controllers felt very cheap and the motorfaders were loud as fuck.

+1
The MC Mix systems were already expensive and with the price bump it's just ridiculous -.- Damn you, AVID.

Yeah, they're loud-ish and plasticy, but there's nothing even close in the price range :/ The Icon Qcon would be a contender, but 1) it apparently doesn't even work with ProTools 2) it apparently isn't expandable 3) the customer support is non-existant (tried asking questions, never heard back) 4) the unit is fugly

I (and a ton of people on gearslutz) really like the V-Verb Pro. And that Jensen loaded cab they discontinued. They tend to discontinue everything that's good. Like it will ruin their rep for making shitty cheap stuff haha.

That said I never thought their monitors to be utterly abysmal (certainly better than the mackie/tapco and krk abominations), or their guitar pedals for that matter (some of them are appalling but most are very good value, especially those that clone discontinued, overinflated boss units). The V-Amp Pro was also great value for money. I still want to try that X-32 thing though! And their Aviom knockoff. Those two might make me give money to Uli again.

Yeah the nucleus was such a douch product. Like we are SSL we can charge whatever we want..

Still no cheapish controller have a dedicated eq and dynamic section. Before someone includes that (except D-command) i wont be buying a controller ever

Awesome. If these are available when I upgrade in a few months time I'll definately pick one up.
