Hello, Phil here. Looking for someone to meet up for Beijing gig/band member for newly formed amateur band.
Re: the gig, I was gonna go with an Austrian mate, but turns out he's away so I'll go alone otherwise.
Also, said Austrian mate (guitar/bass) and I (vocals) have formed a band with an excellent drummer.
He is fine to play either guitar or bass, so if there are any good musicians out there (Symphony X gig
would be a great place to find a good guitarist by my reckoning!), please tell me about yourself.
We have been jamming Soundgarden and Guns N Roses covers so far, but our favourite band is Judas Priest,
so would be great to do something faster and heavier.
Have started writing originals featuring me doing some Halford/Bruce Dickinson-esque wailing!
