that sucks ass ... what happened to NB ???

Well, they realized about two days before the show that they were to pay like 4.000 Euros deposit in order to be allowed out of Romania... Apparently it's a new measure to prevent people from just buggering off and never coming back, like those thousands romanian beggar-kids limping around the swarms of toutists in every European metropole...

Ham/Salad/Cheese and well ...butter , if I remember right..
I ate about 8 of them they were so good.. (well as we can't talk about NB:grin: )

4000 Euro just to leave the country? WTF? In the US, it's just the cost of a passport: $85, and that passport is good for 10 years.

(this excludes cost of plane tickets, etc)

well you know, I don't blame them for doing those kind of measures ... but 4000 sounds a little steep.

You don't blame them for pretty much forcing people without a ridiculous amount of disposable income to stay in the country? how's that? if people want to leave so badly, maybe the government has other problems it should be dealing with

i do believe this is an EU imposed regulation ... believe me Romania wants to get rid of people.

Anyway the remaining bands kind of saved the day except for Berserk who were too much into the cheesy black metal fashion and had nothing about their songs to raise any attention.
Big middle-finger raised toward the Belgian organizers though for not allowing the bands to organize any soundcheck in the afternoon, resulting in a couple fuck-ups like Aes Dana performing virtually without vocalist... :erk:

At least the town was surprinsingly beautiful with lots of ancient architecture all about the place and the local brew tastes beyond compare...
