Anyone dig the production production or music on this album? Took a little to be able to get into the music, haha, but it's really good stuff and I think the guitar tone is pretty damn awesome... definitely one of the better emg 707 sound recordings I've heard, I think... cool distorted bass too

I know it was recorded/produced by Yannick St-Amand (the same guy that did their last album), mixed by Jason Suecof, and mastered by Alan Douches. It sounds damn good. I'd love to be able to cop that guitar tone. It's perfect for the style...

I've been really into the CD lately too. The mix on it is great. Its really heavy while still being very clear through the fast parts. I remember some people on the forum didn't care for the production much because it "sounded too polished," but those types of mixes are my favorite.

This album bores me and so does the production.

God I'm such an asshole. :D

Great job to yannick on this one!

I reamped with...

5150, mesa cab, custom chellee odie overdrive (unless i used the 808 and forgot), 57 and 421 through api

I reamped the guitars on this and did the drum samples and then went on vacation for my birthday in mexico. My first official vacation ever...

so bummed me and yannick couldnt hang and pick on jay, hahaha

Really old thread to bump here, but does anyone know what bridge pickup was used on the album? Was it the EMG 707 or EMG 81-7?

I know nowadays Chris Bradley uses 81-7 in bridge and 707TW in neck, but I don't know about when this was recorded. Sounds like an 81-7 to me, but just want to make sure...

I'm thinking about swapping out my 707 for an 81-7. That's why I'm curious.
