Well I recently bought that record,

And god I was impressed!
Anyone ever heard of them...opinions?

Sometimes they remind me of Senetnced (especially on Ghost Story), but with female counterpoint vocals and more atmosphere.

Pretty darn good. The #1 thing I like about Souls Highway is that they have a perfect balance between the male and female vocalists- they each get a chance to shine, and it's obvious that they are treated as equals (as opposed to, say, Lacuna Coil, where the guy gets a couple of lines to sing in a song, if he's lucky, or a crappy goth metal band that tacks female vocals on as an afterthought). Very catchy songs on it too, there's only one that I don't like. A couple of the arrangements annoy me a little (the first verse to track #2 is waaaay to short IMO, it needs to be twice as long, just feels a bit rushed), but I'm just fussy
I adore that ABBA cover, it's great
And the keyboards are good, they are just subtley in the background, coming to the fore when needed (as opposed to most other goth metal bands that drench things in keyboards just because they can.....).

And Erik's voice fucking rules!!
