Best 2002 releases!

shapeshifter

stronger than any faith
well, as this year is leaving off, I don't think we'll have much more new albums, so put here your 2002 faves.

my list:

Nile - "In Their Darkened Shrines". These guys are demonstrating that they are the rulers of the US death metal "new-wave"... absolutelly brilliant work.

Immortal - "Sons of Northern Darkness". I think it's their natural evolution from "At the Heart of Winter" (my favourite Immortal album). Excellent production and execution also.

Vader - "Revelations". Maybe it will not become a must-have as "De Profundis" and "Black to the Blind" are, but I'm sure it didn't disappoint anybody

King Diamond - "Abigail pt. II". An excellent end for a work beginned 15 years ago (yes, 15 years)

Grave Digger - "Tunes of Wacken". Good setlist, nice sound, very good performance... (by the way, the guitarist on this album is Manni Schmidt, isn't it? or did he arrive before this recording? does anybody knows?)
