I voted for Symphonies of Sickness. It was the first Carcass album I heard and the first death metal album I ever heard, so I've got a bit of a soft spot for it.

Necroticism. Carcass are my favouritist band in the world, if youve seen my last.fm i think it comes across there too. Heartwork is the worst Carcass album. Swansong would be second best for me.

You know, I agree with you about Heartwork. Even though I placed it second last in my list... Which is simply down to the production values on Reek of Putrefaction. Don't get me wrong, I do like both records... but they're definitely both my least favourites. Heartwork has it's moments but to be honest I think it's mostly filler. I actually prefer the pre-Heartwork Parr Street demos!

totally agree here, the demos kill the finished songs!
i also funnily enough prefer some of the demos on evile's enter the grave redux disc

Oh yeh the Hell Demo was blistering. And Killer From The Deep on All Hallows Eve is ace. Has the groovy intro in it!
