Best Maiden Album

This is a hard one for me but i would say the first album Iron Maiden.

Powerslave has been my fav for the last 15 years or so. Before that was Piece of Mind. I guess I prefer the harder and faster pace of Powerslave, but Piece of Mind still has it's moments of being played over Powerslave...

Killers of course! It´s got all the classics: Purgatory, Killers, MITRM, Wrathchild... It´s no contest really.

Ugh, I love most of the albums for a different reason, but I will give Powerslave the nod over everything else, for sentimental as well as musical reasons.

I still want Adrian's guitar tone...

Powerslave represented the absolute peak of Maiden's synergy and power as a band. Everything was in complete sync for them back in 84-85... Somewhere in Time and Seventh Son represented changes in the band, but although they were great albums in their own right and I love them both dearly, there was something missing. I still can't quite put my finger on it. It might just be my perceptions of things musically, for all I know.

They're all good in my book (even the Blaze era) so I just had make a snap judgement for Brave New World... Bruce AND Adrian back where they belong! Happy days... Happy days...

Yeh, hard to choose here but I will go with SOASS and KILLERS don't know wich one really. There's a lot of a differenece between both, the "punky" side of the band and the "kinda-progressive/polished" sound of MAIDEN...(for my taste)

...And all they're albums are very close to each other with the exception of Virtual XI and DOD wich I don't really enjoy too much...
