the band just played in Atlanta recently on the Korpiklaani/TYR tour and I must say I was impressed with their professionalism and abilities on stage. Great attitudes after the show also - very humble to have a lot of pats on the back for a job well done.

Looking forward to seeing them again soon.

Agreed. I didn't know much about them going into the show, and I enjoyed their performance a lot. :kickass:

White Wizzard are really good. They have an EP out but half that band left and started HOly Grail, a thrash band that just put out a 7" records with 2 songs. White Wizzard got 3 new members and that is the version in the video and on the tour. They are also touring again in March as a headliner.

I've only listened to this band here and there, but it just occurred to me. Is it just me or do these guys sound like a modern day Grim Reaper?

I like the sound of this band but I have to say..... Holy Grail appeals more to me. Both bands forthcoming releases will tell the real story. Maybe both will be serious ass kickers. Holy Grail's EP is available on their Myspace and it smokes!!!!

Apparently the Hetfield looking dude just left the band, these guys can't keep a line up together for some reason.

I like the video the previous line up put out, it's in the same vein as the one posted at the top of this thread.

I saw them open for Korplikaani and they were very fun to watch, plus the songs are not bad at all.

I like the song but this video is super lame. The first one was a little corny but it was funny and not nearly as lame. This one sorta makes them look like a really shitty low budget band. They could have done without the bad acting and effects. I know it may sound stupid but if this was my introduction to the band, I wouldn't have given them a chance.

I see what you mean. My introduction to the band was seeing them live. I have shown the first video to a couple of people and they liked it cause it was taken for what it was. The video actually does make them look like a cheap low budget band because at the time they shot that vid ....welll....they were! To each their own I guess.

Still they're a fun band, they are playing Reggies in March. I have no idea who is playing with them cause they are listed by themselves though.

I'm pretty sure the idea is for the video to look low budget. The only thing that doesn't seem to work is the second video is a different line up I believe.
I still waiting for my Holy Grail, feel I well like it better since it is basically the original band that I first heard.
I don't think the new album is going to be as good as the EP. The band will be polished and over produced and it will take away the charm. Some will understand that, most people won't get my meaning.
They were fun when they played up here. And they were really nice guys.
Surprisingly they seemed to get a better crowd response than the other bands on the package. Strange since it was obviously a lot of the "pagan folky metal" types at the show.
