Better the Demon I know!

I just got a copy of Demon's last release "Better the Devil you know" and its great! Its a lot like the first two which are my favorite Demon albums before they went Proggy.

Anyone else here heard this one?

I've only heard the song samples. It sounded good, but they've put out so much mediocre material for so long that I'm a little gun-shy about buying anything Demon these days.

I won't call Demon proggy, more like rock/poppy if you like after "British Standard Approved". I stopped with the band at that album after Mal Spooner demise. But since Rokk says ir worth to be listened to, I will

You're right, BtDYK is an excellent Demon disc, that recalls their early stuff. That's great for me cause I was really disappointed with the experimental Spaced Out Monkey, that puts me to sleep...

My fave Demon discs are Blow Out (1992), their heaviest, Night Of The Demon (1981), The Unexpected Guest (1982) and Hold On To The Dream (1991). But Better The Devil You Know was a welcome return to the classic Demon sound.

They beat it the very next release with Don't Break the Circle. Best album in my opinion.
