It was precisely this type of stupid Christianity that caused the Great Plague of the Middle Ages.

The Church, in getting rid of cats because they considered them tools of the devil, unwittingly caused the rat population to increase and with it, the incidences of bubonic plague. It was only in allowing cats to hunt the rats that carried the plague (who transferred it to humans via fleas) that the problem was resolved - of course, this was only after thousands of people had already perished.

Let us also not forget that the Bible condones slavery and murder, so I personally could care less what it is that they have to say about pussy!

Wow, this is incredibly stupid. I myself am a Christian but I think it is incredibly stupid to take your religion this far. I'll interpret my religion the way I want to and I really don't think God would give a shit if I owned a cat.
