the record company are thinking of re-releasing Lionheart with tons of bonus material + a 5.1 Mix.

My comment: I like that bonus material, but... re-releasing Lionheart? I already have that fantastic CD. I will not buy it again.... I hope that there will be a seperate CD, with re-recordings of To Hell and back again, taking your chances, Redline, Stand up be counted, and a few new written songs... Just my opinion...

It has to be remixed at least to make me buy it again. But it sounds great as it is. IF THE WHOLE CD IS IN 5.1 I MAY GO FOR IT. I haven't been impressed with the 5.1 mixes from bands so far. Manowar's Warriors of the World is the best I have heard in 5.1 so far. Deep Purples Machine also sounded solid.

do bands perform in 5.1 mixes? If not, then they should record new releases like they`re going to sopund live. I think Judas Priest released British Steel in this method and it sounded good enough to me back in 81 and still sounds good.
