Billy shopping in Albany, NY

You sound sarcastic, Schenk! I was laughing at Billy's comments! Especially when he pointed to the rack of shirts and said "This is what America want you to look like, a fuckin douche-bag!"

Jurched

That was funny when Billy was making fun of those shirts.

The guys absolutely CLASSIC!!! I swear, I love the Bottom Line and if Billy could do some type of internet TV thing when he decides to stop touring it would probably be pretty big (Especially with old school metalheads and people who share the Bottom Line views, Like me)

That's right, T! They need guys like you doing the creative marketing over there!

One of the cable giants like HBO or ShowTime should do a half hour metal round-up show that's actually fun to watch (unlike MTV's shit), hosted by Billy. Or at least, an "out with Billy" segment.

Imagine "Shopping for a Used BMW with Billy" or "Visiting a Funeral Home with Billy" or "Going to the Dentist with Billy"?

Shit! I shop the way Billy shops: I complain about everything I see, with a sarcastic remark ready for every goddamned aisle. So I could appreciate "Out with Billy" quite a lot!

I just mean that it's a stupid waste of time with no content...they could have at least done something interesting with it. Riveting journalism is what I meant by my sarcasm.

Believe me...one thing no one wants to be thinking about is Billy's underwear.

funny stuff. i like the idea of Billy getting his own commentary show, though. it would be a riot!

It's been done, sort of. . . Doesn't Henry Rollins have a show about him er, nothing, already? I suppose Billy's would be better. Rollins has worn on my. The whole, "I'm Henry Rollins, I'm angry, look at my tattoos" shit is more played out than 5-liter Mustangs on Lawng Eyeland.

I like Henry Rollins but his show was pretty lame. The letters from henry were pretty good though, they're on you tube.

Dude, that is hilarious!! (And true!!) I almost spit my coffee out laughing!
I love Rollins music! But I'm tired of hearing him speak!! If he was to hand the torch off to Billy I don't think too many people would complain. I don't know what's stopping Billy from a spoken word thing... I think it would do well.. Not just from music people but the Pro America crowd as well.

I like some of Henry's rants, but must of his other rants are just the same. I wish he had better musical guests, I haven't seen a band on Rollins' show once that I liked.

It would be awesome to see Billy have a show like that or in some form. :kickass:

Thanks. I like some of Rollins stuff too. I just can't listen to him speak anymore. It is almost like he believes the hype about himself. There is this one story he told about going to see a Ratt concert at a local bar that was just great. If you have ever heard it, you know what I'm talkin about.
BTW, any chance you could score me some Celtics tickets?

I bought his double live album "the boxed life" of spoken word back in the early 90's. While some of us absolutely loved it and "got it" a lot of people i worked with didnt.

Id always loved his bit about the being on an airplane, and taking control of the intercom system.

We're gonna take this plane mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, and were gonna fly right into the sun !!!!"
