ok this is pretty damn awesome, but the write up is a little misleading and off the mark. this is waaaay more post-rock/modern sounding than quotes like

great line up but I hate having so many bands on a bill.

this sounds great. I listened to their last album a bunch, it's on my ipod now, but there are not too many songs on it that stick out, it kinda just rolls by like a blur.

I agree, nothing really stands out on the last record. It rocks for sure, just not very catchy. If the rest of the new one is anything like this first track, though, then these old bastards have finally figured it out.
