Copenhagen, Denmark-based stoner rock trio BLACK BOOK LODGE will release its debut album, "Tûndra", this spring via Mighty Music. The first single from the CD, "Black Sheep/Prodigal Sons", can be streamed below.BLACK BOOK LODGE made its mark on the Danish rock and metal scene with the release of its debut EP, "We Are Legion", in 2011. A short time later, they were invited to support THE KANDIDATE (featuring Jacob Bredahl of HATESPHERE) on the latter band's Danish tour in 2012. According to a press release, BLACK BOOK LODGE's "signature sound draws from inspirations such as QUEENS OF A STONE AGE, MASTODON and OPETH.""Black Sheep/Prodigal Sons" is "a prime example of the grandiose, forceful performance BLACK BOOK LODGE is known for.""The song portrays the fragile story about the growing longing for meaning and substance in an otherwise godless world," explains BLACK BOOK LODGE singer and guitarist Ronny Jønsson. The "Black Sheep/Prodigal Sons" single release also contains the track "Cripplegate", which shows a more progressive and melodic side of the band.
