BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION - the band featuring vocalist/bassist Glenn Hughes (DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH, TRAPEZE), drummer Jason Bonham (LED ZEPPELIN), Derek Sherinian (DREAM THEATER) and blues rock guitarist JOE BONAMASSA - will release their third studio album called Afterglow on October 30th. Hughes told Artisan News that the album is "kind of a continuation… There’s gonna be some darker stuff on there, because the lyrics I’m writing are kind of dark. There may be some moments of drama in there, I like drama in the music. So the songs I have ready are definitely a continuation of (the first and the second albums)."

Saw Bonamassa couple years ago at Center Stage, good show. Would be great if BCC did an extended tour of the states. Glenn and Joe seem to have a good chemistry on stage and in the studio.
